The journal miradas recognizes that there are two types of rights, the first is the moral right that belongs to the author, who is responsible for the ideas expressed in each article, his name can never disappear from the work, since he is its creator.
The second has to do with the patrimonial right that is on the work and that is the university that is responsible for the publication to be visible and contribute to the construction of knowledge, always referring to the author.
That is why every publication has a control filter that seeks to review and filter the publications presented in each call, taking into account the anti-plagiarism policy, the COPE code of ethics, peer review and the nature and contribution of the publication to the area of knowledge.
The journal, makes clear the publication policies and presents to the community the formats with the evaluation rules, the data of the evaluators, the authors, the example of a publication and requests the assignment of rights.
Any author may participate in the journal's call for papers, and depending on his or her curriculum vitae, may be an evaluator or belong to the editorial committee, and any person may learn about the transparency with which the journal's processes work.
The Technological University of Pereira, its directors, the editor and the editorial and scientific committees are not responsible for what is said or omitted in the articles presented here in relation to ideological, political or other approaches. The authors are directly responsible for the content of their articles.
