Miradas is the scientific journal of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, with a local, national and international scope. Its main objective is to contribute to the areas of knowledge in social and human sciences, promoting the dissemination and social appropriation of knowledge in a free and accessible way.

The foundation is given through the inclusion of works that address global issues from local perspectives, promoting an enriching dialogue between different contexts and realities. With this approach, Miradas is positioned as a vehicle for the exchange of ideas and best practices in the field of education and social sciences, generating a positive impact on the global academic community.

The journal is committed to publishing rigorous research that not only contributes to the development of knowledge in our areas of study, but also aligns with current international trends and challenges. With this, Miradas reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and the creation of an inclusive space where voices from different latitudes are heard.

The journal is aimed at researchers and teachers, as well as the academic community in general, in order to develop research in research processes, in order to consolidate the intellectual production, partial or final result of the various projects carried out, research working in the area corresponding to the relationship between communication, education and culture.

Miradas magazine is classified in the area of knowledge of social sciences, taking as discipline the social sciences in an interdisciplinary way where communication, education and culture are part of it.

Mission

Contribute to the processes of social appropriation of knowledge from the online publication and free access to the results of research processes carried out by researchers, teachers and students in the framework of the relationship established between communication, education and culture.

 

Vision

To publish and systematize the research results built in the framework of the relationship established between the areas of communication, education and culture. We will become a center of collection and consultation of works related to the aforementioned areas at regional, national and international levels.
