Anti-plagiarism policy

Anti-Plagiarism Policy

Scientia et Technica will implement all possible measures to prevent fraud and plagiarism, and to ensure an adequate response to the needs of readers and authors, while maintaining the quality of the publications, protecting and respecting the content of the manuscripts, and ensuring their integrity. To achieve this, the journal uses anti-plagiarism software, iThenticate.

Manuscripts identified as having matching content or suspected of fraud will not be published, and articles that have been published elsewhere will be removed from the journal. The journal will act with the utmost severity in these cases: by accepting the terms and agreements expressed by our journal, authors must guarantee that the article and associated materials are original and do not infringe copyright. Recommendations established by COPE (https://publicationethics.org/) and Colombian and international laws will be followed to uphold the moral and economic rights of authors.
