Abstract

Este artículo permite identificar como se logra la idoneidad que requiere un profesional para ser competente en el ejercicio de su profesión, mediante aprendizajes adquiridos no sólo en instituciones educativas sino a través de la experiencia, la cultura y las relaciones interpersonales. Se identifica a través de la historia que autores han contribuido al diseño de modelos de formación por competencias para por medio de estrategias impactar en el desarrollo del ser humano a lo largo de su vida. Logrando seres autorreflexivos, autónomos y comprometidos con el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la sociedad a la cual pertenecen.
