Abstract

This paper presents a LTE Downlink Packet Scheduler, which aims to intelligently allocate radio resources to mobile stations in an access network, supported by an evolutionary algorithm. The proposed scheduler was compared with four reference algorithms, the results show that the scheduler based in differential evolution, allocates the radio resources effectively reaching suitable values of fairness index and throughput
