Una aplicación de las correlaciones canónicas en climatología

El trabajo presenta una aplicación de las correlaciones canónica en climatología. El propósito de esta técnica es determinar la existencia o no de la asociación lineal entre dos conjunto de variables aleatorias e independientes. El caso estudiado, evalúa la relación lineal existente entre el comportamiento de las series de precipitación de un periodo de 20 años, influenciadas por variables de escala superior. El análisis de los resultados determina que existe relación de tipo inversa entre estos dos conjunto de variables. La importancia de el estudio radica en la comprensión de la variabilidad climática dada la ocurrencia de ciertos fenómenos me macro escala.Downloads
