Estudio morfológico y estructural de una arcilla Colombiana pilarizada en presencia de ultrasonido y microondas

Se estudia el efecto1 del ultrasonido y las microondas en la composición cristalina y morfología de una esmectita colombiana pilarizada con aluminio. Se emplearon las técnicas de Difracción de Rayos X (DRX), Microscopía Electrónica de Barrido (MEB) y sortometría de N2 para describir las características fisicoquímicas del material modificado. El mineral fue pilarizado independiente del método de envejecimiento, sin embargo, su cristalinidad y morfología de grano fueron afectadas por el ultrasonido y las microondas en función del tiempo. Las microondas fueron más efectivas en la disminución del tamaño de grano y en el incremento del área superficial que el ultrasonido.Downloads
