Modelo matemático para la planeación de la producción en una industria metalmecánica

Se diseñó un modelo matemático para la planeación agregada de la producción en una industria metalmecánica mediana, donde se desarrolló una estrategia mixta que incluyó la persecución (contratación y despido) y nivel de inventarios, a partir de un modelo de programación lineal. Los resultados arrojaron las necesidades de cantidad de empleados, las contrataciones, los niveles de producción por jornada laboral y los inventarios, para cada proceso, que minimizan los costos asociados al plan y satisfacen los requerimientos de la demanda. El modelo diseñado y el proceso seguido para la planeación agregada de la producción pueden implementarse en empresas de la industria metalmecánica.
