Abstract

En este articulo se justifica -a partir de un diagnóstico y caracterización de las dimensiones de desarrollo, y de la identificación de algunos procesos y conflictos regionales- la presentación de una propuesta de creación de una instancia formal de planeación y gestión del desarrollo regional (Comités de Integración Territorial) que contribuya de manera efectiva en el establecimiento de mecanismos de integración, articulación, coordinación y armonización de las diferentes entidades competentes para la implementación de los planes de ordenamiento y el desarrollo territoriales. Al final, se relacionan valiosas conclusiones que pueden tomarse como reflexión y punto de partida para el seguimiento y ejecución de la propuesta.
