Abstract

Este artículo constituye el avance de una investigación donde se analizan los sentidos y significados de la relación ciencia género en básica primaria. El estudio se basa en la concepción de la didáctica de las ciencias como una disciplina social, las definiciones de la naturaleza de la ciencia, la relación entre la ciencia, la tecnología y la sociedad y la relación existente entre género y ciencia. Además, se utilizan las definiciones de sentido y significado en relación con la visión de mundo y las representaciones sociales presentes en la enseñanza de las ciencias en básica primaria. Se muestra el planteamiento de una investigación que busca visibilizar, discutir y colectivizar aspectos concernientes a la enseñanza de las ciencias en relación con el sujeto que enseña y el que aprende y las posibles influencias de ideas en torno al género en la imagen de ciencia que es transmitida en la práctica pedagógica.
