Abstract

Existe una polémica de si la administración es ciencia o tecnología social, que se evidencia en congresos1, libros, tesis doctorales y revistas especializadas. En varios pregrado y posgrado del país se orientan seminarios de filosofía o epistemología de la administración en los que se analiza el objeto de estudio, la naturaleza de las teorías, sustentos teóricos y metodológicos de la administración en el contexto de las ciencias y de las tecnologías, que han motivado importantes investigaciones filosóficas2. La noción de paradigma de Kuhn permite dirimir la polémica sobre el estatuto de la Administración.
