Abstract

En los últimos diez años, se observa una creciente preocupación de la comunidad científica de Ingeniería de Software y otras comunidades relacionadas, en la evaluación de aplicaciones centradas en la Web, de modo que recientemente se ha dado en llamar a la disciplina, Ingeniería de Software en la Web, o brevemente, Ingeniería en la Web. El objetivo principal de este artículo es analizar y confrontar el cumplimiento de una serie de normas, consideradas a priori predictoras de la usabilidad de un sitio web, para garantizar la eficiencia de los servicios prestados por una institución. La idea subyacente a esos sistemas es que una universidad como cualquier otro proveedor de servicios, ha de estar orientada hacia la satisfacción de las necesidades de sus clientes.
