Factores de la entrevista de ingreso a la universidad tecnológica de Pereira y su relación con el rendimiento académico

Abstract

A través del presente artículo se quiere compartir con la comunidad académica interesada en el fenómeno de la deserción, el ejercicio que se ha venido adelantando por el equipo para disminuir la deserción en la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, esta vez haciendo énfasis en la importancia de construir el perfil del estudiante de primer ingreso, de tal manera, que se pueda conocer su nivel de riesgo frente a una eventual deserción y desde allí orientar acciones focalizadas de apoyo. La propuesta se sustenta desde el análisis de la relación entre los resultados de la “Entrevista de Ingreso” y su relación con el promedio académico utilizando para ello pruebas de independencia y análisis multivariado de correspondencias simple.
