Abstract

La creciente aparición de las computadoras y las cámaras de importantes prestaciones en casi todos los espacios de la producción, la reducción en el costo de las mismas y la implementación de eficientes algoritmos para el proceso de reconocimiento de patrones llevan a evaluar la importancia y pertinencia de implementar sistemas de control de la calidad en los procesos de producción que pueden llegar a reemplazar, o complementar, labores realizadas por seres. Este artículo busca crear una discusión sobre la importancia y repercusiones de la implementación de los sistemas de visión por computador en los procesos de producción.
