La importancia de la metrología como tema transversal en la formación en ciencias básicas

Abstract

El grupo de electrofisiología (área de metrología) de la UTP, ha desarrollado un conjunto de actividades para formar en metrología a los estudiantes de ingeniería, a estudiantes de posgrado y a profesionales del medio externo. Este trabajo de formación se inicia desde los cursos de laboratorio de física en los cuales el análisis de la medida desde el punto de vista metrológico es preponderante. Todo lo anterior ha dado lugar a que los estudiantes de pregrado y de posgrado de diferentes carreras estén realizando en algunos casos sus trabajos de grado en esta área y que profesionales del medio externo puedan capacitarse en estos temas. Mediante este trabajo se quiere presentar los resultados de esta experiencia junto con un análisis en el que se resalta la importancia de la metrología como tema transversal en la formación en ciencias básicas.
