Síntesis, caracterización y evaluación fotocatalítica de óxidos mixtos titanio-silicio
Abstract
Los Óxidos mixtos de TiO2-SiO2 fueron sintetizados mediante la ruta sol-gel utilizando tetraetilortosilicato (TEOS) como fuente de sílice. Para el titanio se evaluaron diferentes alcóxidos precursores: etóxido, isopropóxido y butóxido de titanio. Así mismo, se estudió el efecto de diferentes solventes en la síntesis: etanol e isopropanol. Los materiales obtenidos se caracterizaron por medio de diferentes de técnicas tales como: DRX, FTIR, TG/DTA y Área superficial BET. Los óxidos sintetizados presentan altas áreas superficiales, buena homogeneidad y excelente dispersión del TiO2 en la estructura de la sílice. Las pruebas fotocatalíticas realizadas mostraron que estos óxidos son presentan notables propiedades fotoactivas.Downloads
