Técnicas alternativas para la conversión de imágenes a color a escala de grises en el tratamiento digital de imágenes

En los sistemas de visión artificial es recurrente la conversión de la imagen a color en su correspondiente escala de grises para su posterior binarización. Este proceso, que forma parte del procesamiento de la imagen en la búsqueda de mejorar sus propiedades y facilitar la extracción de características, se ejecuta casi siempre recorriendo a un único algorítmo desde el espacio de color RGB. Este artículo presenta algunas de las alternativas en la conversión a escala de grises de imágenes a color RGB.Downloads
