CARACTERIZACIÓN MICROBIOLÓGICA DE LODOS ANAEROBIOS UTILIZADOS EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA FRACCIÓN ORGÁNICA DE LOS RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS URBANOS
Abstract
Esta investigación presenta los resultados obtenidos de la caracterización microbiológica de un reactor anaerobio en dos fases para el tratamiento de la Fracción Orgánica de los Residuos sólidos Urbanos (FORSU) mediante recuentos por sensibilidad al oxígeno y grupos metabólicos por la técnica del Número Más Probable (NMP). Se encontró un predominio de la población fermentativa (105 – 106 NMP ml-1), seguida por la acetogénica (105 NMP ml- 1) y la sulfatorreductora (104 – 105 NMP ml-1) en el reactor acidogénico. No se detectó competencia entre la población sulfatorreductora (104 – 105 NMP ml- 1) y la metanogénica (105 NMP ml-1) en el reactor metanogénico. Se observaron principalmente los géneros, Methanotrix sp, Methanosarcina sp, Methanoccocus sp y Methanobacterium sp.Downloads
