Caracterización de propiedades mecánicas en aceros inoxidables martensíticos nitrurados en alta temperatura
Abstract
Los aceros inoxidables martensíticos AISI 410 y AISI 410S fueron nitrurados con gas N2 en alta temperatura (≅1100°C), usando presiones que permitieran la formación de martensita con nitrógeno en solución sólida, y cuyo contenido de intersticiales (C+N) fuera próximo al contenido de carbono del acero AISI 420 (0,35%C), usado como material de comparación. Posteriormente todos los materiales fueron ensayados a tracción, al impacto y dureza con el fin de evaluar algunas de sus propiedades mecánicas. Los aceros nitrurados AISI 410 y AISI 410S (llamados ahora 410N y 410SN respectivamente), fueron revenidos entre 400 y 600°C, después de ser realizado un doble refino de grano, presentando valores de límite de resistencia, límite de fluencia y dureza, semejantes a los del acero AISI 420, y alta energía de impacto solamente en la condición de revenido a 600°C.Downloads
