Modelamiento inicial de ciudades de paises en via de desarrollo, utilizando dinámica de sistemas

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio es identificar los beneficios reales ofrecidos por las técnicas de modelamiento y simulación (Autómatas Celulares y Dinámica de Sistemas) en el mejoramiento de la planificación y toma de decisiones de los gobiernos de los países en vías de desarrollo respecto del crecimiento de sus ciudades. Para ello se analiza el caso específico en la ciudad de Pamplona (Colombia), una ciudad que ha experimentado un crecimiento importante en su población debido a circunstancias particulares, influenciada por las nociones de desarrollo implícitas en los modelos de crecimiento en general y las ideas de suspropios gobiernos.
