Evaluación de la biotransformación de citronelol utilizando como biocatalizador aspergillus niger
Abstract
Durante la realización de este trabajo se ha estudiado la biotransformación del alcohol terpénico citronelol utilizando Aspergillus niger cultivado en medio sólido. Si bien el crecimiento del hongo se favorece en el medio de cultivo MEA, la biotransformación tuvo lugar en PDA después de 4 días de reacción, observándose la hidroxilación en el carbono C7 del citronelol, obteniéndose hidroxicitronelol como único producto, con un rendimiento del 52.21 por ciento. Este compuesto, sintetizado químicamente, se utiliza en cosmética y en alimentos como aromatizante aprobado por la Comisión de las Comunidades Europeas y la Secretaría de Salud de México.Downloads
