Estudio de la variación circadiana de los metabolitos secundarios volátiles obtenidos por destilación – extracción con solvente simultánea, de hojas de lippia alba (fam. verbenaceae)

Abstract

Se estudió la variación circadiana de los metabolitos secundarios volátiles del extracto de hojas de Lippia alba, cultivada en una parcela experimental del Complejo Piloto de CENIVAM, UIS, Bucaramanga. El material vegetal se recolectó a diferentes horas, su extracto se obtuvo por destilación-extracción con solvente simultánea (SDE) y se analizó por cromatografía de gases acoplada a espectrometría de masas (GC-MS). Los resultados mostraron que la composición del extracto de Lippia alba varía con respecto a la hora de colecta del material vegetal, presentando mayor concentración de la carvona en horas de la noche.
