Un flavonoide de chromolaena perglabra induce muerte celular en celulas tumorales y proliferacion en celulas normales
Abstract
Los siguientes compuestos son flavonides aislados de Chromolaena tacotana, CT1 y CT3, de Chromolaena bullata CB2, y de Chromolaena perglabara CP7. En el presente trabajo mostramos que el flavonoide CP7 (Chromolaena perglabara) afecta la morfología celular y disminuye la viabilidad celular en las siguientes líneas celulares humanas: K562, (eritroleucemia), A375, (melanoma) y una línea celular de melanoma murino Mel-Rel+. El análisis del ciclo celular demuestra que el flavonoide CP7 inhibe la proliferación celular, causa detención en G1 e induce apoptosis. La evaluación de la actividad biológica del flavonoide CP7 en células normales, muestra una actividad inmunoestimulatoria a través de un incremento en la proliferación de células mononucleares humanas estimuladas con PHA. Basados en estos resultados, proponemos que el CP7 es un flavonoide con alto potencial antitumoral e inmunoestimu lador. Los mecanísmos moleculares que regulan estas actividades están siendo estudiados en la actualidad.Downloads
