Actividad antifungica del isoespintanol sobre hongos del genero colletotricum

Abstract

Los monoterpenoides son compuestos naturales, encontrados en plantas. Estos compuestos son metabolitos secundarios que juegan un papel importante en la función metabólica de las plantas. En este trabajo, se evaluó la actividadantifungica del isoespintanol (2-Isopropil-3,6-dimetoxi-5-metilfenol), extraído de hojas de Oxandra cf. xylopioides sobre los hongos del genero Coletotricum (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides y Colletotrichum acutatum); encontrándose una buena respuesta a concentraciones de 100 ppm, especialmente contra el la especie Colletotrichum acutatum ( por ciento de inhibición = 40.9). En ninguno de los dos casos hubo una relación dosis respuesta.
