Obtención de alcohol perílico por biotransformación del limoneno
Abstract
El limoneno es el monoterpeno cíclico más abundante en la naturaleza. El R-(+)- limoneno es el componente principal del aceite del flavedo en frutos cítricos (naranja, limón, mandarina, pomelo) y del aceite esencial de alcaravea (Caraway). El limoneno puede oxidarse en cualquiera de sus carbonos, de las cuales son interesantes la oxidación en C7 para producir alcohol perílico, perilaldehído y ácido perílico; o en C6 para producir carveol o carvona. En este estudio se evaluó la biotransformación del limoneno empleando como biocatalizador Aspergillus niger en diferentes medios de reacción. Fue posible la obtención de α-terpineol y alcohol perílico como componentes principales.Downloads
