Abstract

Las señales bioeléctricas contienen artefactos de una gran variedad de fuentes que traen consigo incertidumbre en las técnicas de procesamiento de señales y que requieren segmentos estacionarios de la señal para su análisis. En el presente artículo se desarrolla un algoritmo de segmentación basado en wavelets. Las pruebas desarrolladas sobre las bases de datos de pacientes parkinsonianos en las zonas de tálamo y subtálamo dan como resultado que la metodología propuesta permite segmentar de manera apropiada dichas señales..
