Abstract

En la medida en que se presenta el desarrollo científico y tecnológico, la industria se ve en la necesidad de crear sistemas que faciliten la comercialización de sus productos dentro del comercio global, respetando la legislación que regula las transacciones comerciales a este nivel; razón por la cual se crean normas que facilitan el cumplimiento de dichas regulaciones, como es el caso de la industria de la confección, para la cual la Asociación Americana de la Confección-AAMA, crea el programa WRAP, el que establece los principios claves para el desarrollo del sector en lo que se refiere a la responsabilidad social. Programa que es certificable a nivel internacional.
