Abstract

El presente artículo expone los resultados obtenidos en la aplicación de la metodología Brain Based Learning en la asignatura Programación I del programa Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Tecnológica durante cuatro semestres consecutivos que abarcan desde el 1º semestre de 2009 hasta el II semestre de 2010. En su corpus se exponen las preocupaciones que inspiraron la búsqueda de metodologías que fortalezcan el proceso de aprendizaje de la programación así como los principios que describen el BBL como mecanismo para buscar el éxito en dicho proceso. De la misma manera se presentan algunos resultados desde el punto de vista cuantitativo y, también, desde lo puramente cualitativo. Finalmente plantean elementos para la discusión y se formulan algunas conclusiones.
