Abstract

En este artículo se presenta un análisis del efecto producido en los valores de la fuerza cortante, el momento flector y el factor de rueda (F.R.) debido al desplazamiento transversal sobre un puente de sección compuesta, del camión de diseño C-40-95 y su aplicación en el método simplificado para el diseño de puentes. Los resultados fueron obtenidos de analizar varias posiciones longitudinales y transversales del camión de diseño, utilizando la técnica de elementos finitos. Como resultados de los análisis se determino que la posición transversal del camión de diseño influye sobre los valores del factor de rueda.
