EFECTO DE UN COMPENSADOR DE VAR ESTATICO EN EL AMORTIGUAMIENTO DE LAS OSCILACIONES
Abstract
An SVC composed by a fixed capacitor and a reactor controlled by thyristors is
used to increase the stability limits of one electric system. This SVC is placed at
the generator bus terminal and the voltage and velocity signals are used as its
input signals. This scheme is applied in an electric system composed by a
synchronous machine connected to an infinite bus and the results are obtained
using simulation.
