El café colombiano, considerado el mejor del mundo por su suavidad, pierde sus características en las etapas tempranas de la cadena valor.
Con el uso de las TIC y las redes sociales se puede llegar con un producto de origen al consumidor final, realizando una integración vertical para reducir la cadena de intermediación, agregando valores en la cadena que garantice un mayor ingreso al productor y un mejor producto y precio al consumidor.
Las anteriores afirmaciones las confirma un estudio Delphi, realizado con expertos, que se analiza en el presente artículo.
