En este artículo se presenta el estudio e implementación del modelo ZIP polinomial de carga en sistemas eléctricos de potencia utilizando la herramienta Models, disponible en el software de simulación Alternative Transients Program (ATP). Además se presenta la validación del modelo desarrollado, comparando los resultados del flujo de potencia de un circuito de prueba, utilizando un modelo de carga de impedancia, potencia constante y un modelo híbrido en el ATP, con los obtenidos en el software Neplan, tomado como referencia. Los resultados muestran que el modelo se comporta según lo esperado, lo cual valida el desarrollo propuesto.
