Abstract

El Ministerio de Educación nacional determina que el aprendizaje de las matemáticas no es una cuestión relacionada únicamente con aspectos cognitivos, sino que involucra factores de orden afectivo y social, vinculados con contextos de aprendizaje particulares, por lo tanto es necesario identificar las practicas matemáticas propias de estos grupos culturales y es aquí, donde la etnomatemática como línea de investigación permite estudiar los procesos matemáticos, simbolos, jergas, mitologias y modelos de razonamiento, practicados por el grupo de niños de la granja infantil Jesus de la Buena Esperanza de la Ciudad de Pereira. En la cual se identificaron y clasificaron las practicas matemáticas producto del entorno social y que podrán ser utilizadas en el aula de clase logrando relacionar los algoritmos matemáticos con la realidad que viven en su entorno social.
