Influencia del aire húmedo en la combustión del metano

En este artículo se aborda el estudio teórico de la influencia de la humedad relativa y la temperatura del aire en la combustión del metano. La solución del sistema de combustión es realizada bajo las consideraciones de la termoquímica y sin considerar transporte y cinética química. La temperatura de llama y la composición de los gases de combustión son determinados en función de la humedad relativa y la temperatura del aire. Como es común encontrar cálculos de combustión basados en la consideración de aire seco, este artículo muestra que la humedad relativa y la temperatura del aire pueden tener una considerable influencia en las variables de la combustión.
