Abstract

This paper shows the influence of the asymmetry of a population for the selection of sample sizes to ensure compliance of the Central Limit Theorem. A process simulation was performed using the statistical software R 3.1.0 with different types of continuous populations. The goodness of fit tests of normality Shapiro-Wilk, Lilliefors and Anderson-Darling normality to evaluate different sampling distributions were used. Finally the sample sizes that guarantee according to the asymmetry of Theorem compliance is.
