Daño por desgaste por deslizamiento y corrosión entre acoples de varillas de pozo y tubería de producción

Abstract

Se evaluó el desgaste por deslizamiento de un API J55 con y sin ambiente de CO2, con acoples convencionales de spray metal, y materiales poliméricos usados en centralizadores, además, se evaluó la efectividad de un inhibidor de corrosión. Los resultados mostraron que la pérdida de material es más severa cuando se presentaron ambas condiciones (corrosión más deslizamiento); el uso de acoples con materiales duros protegió al acople pero incrementó el desgaste en la tubería. El uso de centralizadores en materiales poliméricos protegió la tubería, pero su vida útil fue corta; el efecto del inhibidor de corrosión se disminuyó debido a que la película protectora fue afectada por el rozamiento.
