Abstract

Blocking Contours offers the gear designer the addendum modification coefficients values that fulfills the geometric limitations of undercut, transverse contact ratio, interference and tooth pointed. In this work this method is improved, considering in the contour's construction the tolerances of the center distance, the tip diameter and the backlash between teeth profiles. Thus, the achievement of the mentioned geometric limitations is guaranteed, even with the most unfavorable combinations in the tolerances, what improves the design quality of these transmissions.

Robert Hernández Ortega, Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas

Soy graduado de Ingeniería Mecánica en el Instituto Auto mecánico de Moscú en el año 1991, de Maestro en Ingeniería Mecánica en el año 2001 y de Doctor en Ciencias Técnicas en el 2014. Desde el año 1991 al 2005 se desempeñó como ingeniero en la industria mecánica. Desde el año 2005 es docente de la Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas en Santa Clara, Cuba. Su campo de investigación abarca el diseño mecánico, así como la simulación y modelado de sistemas mecánicos.
